Science Service Records

Science Service Record series

Once a week for seven weeks, or at any other intervals you choose, bring one of these great scientists to your classes.

1) Pass around this picture, which we supply with the record. The picture, done by the beautiful gravure process, is on heavy photogravure paper, size nine inches square.

2) Read his brief biography which we have printed on the back of the picture.

3) Put the scientist's record on a portable or other phonograph, for the instruction and inspiration of the classes. Play it once or twice or as many times as necessary to be sure that the students will remember what they have heard. That is a great advantage of this method.

4) Then, if you desire, discuss the speech with the students, asking questions. For your convenience in teaching, the full speech is also printed on the back of the photograph.
